The major initiative of The Foundation is to provide technical assistance and training to first responders in rural areas throughout the United States. The Foundation encourages trained units to become proactive in their communities by speaking to individuals, church groups, schools and businesses.     Danielle enjoyed a typical childhood, finishing elementary school and then attending Scurry-Rosser High School in Kaufman County, Texas. On Aug. 24, 1996, a defective high-pressure gas pipeline exploded and took the lives of Danielle and a close friend, Jason Stone, both 17.     View presentations of our history and our offices.
