School System Training
Pipeline Association for Public Awareness School Program

Because of Danielle, the Foundation has a special passion for America’s youth. For several years we have conducted training in collaboration with another non-profit organization called the Pipeline Association for Public Awareness (PAPA), training for students and faculty in schools located adjacent to pipeline right of ways.

PAPA is comprised of various energy and pipeline companies who want to elevate public awareness of pipeline safety. These companies identify school systems in close proximity to their pipeline routes. The Smalley Foundation then conducts outreach to these schools via phone calls, literature, mailings, and personal visits in order to ensure that the district’s staff and faculty understand basic pipeline safety concepts.
