This training and technical assistance is available to any potential first responder unit and other interested community organizations.

On-site training is generally conducted at regular department training meetings. The training units are self-contained, utilizing specially created training manuals, videos, and PowerPoint presentations so the host organization need only supply a suitable meeting room with tables and chairs to accommodate the number expected to attend. This intensive workshop, combined with on-site technical assistance, prepares first responders to handle the risks associated with high-pressure pipelines and, in an emergency, respond in appropriate ways to mitigate this danger.

Training classes require a full two-hour period and can be given during daytime or evening hours.
