Pipelines can be ideal neighbors ‚ they are quiet and generally out of sight! The majority
of pipelines are situated underground. However, pipelines can be seen emerging from the
earth at terminals, pumping, and compressor stations. They can also be found crossing
waterways or bridges.
Pipelines are located in an easement or ROW. ROW's can be located
by looking for corridors that are clear of vegetation, houses,
buildings, and other structures. You can also spot a ROW by
looking for pipeline markers.
